Having been a two-term elected prosecutor, I am well qualified to judge the theft, shakedowns and especially money for presidential pardons during Trump’s first six months of his second term. Having also been a tenured college professor, I am well-qualified to grade the news media on its reporting of the corruption. Here are my evaluations:
1. MSNBC — Grade of A-minus; on Aug. 25, Chris Hayes presented a program on cash for pardons, but it wasn’t complete. The network does a good job of presenting evidence about the Trump crypto currency payoffs.
2. The Associated Press news agency — grade of A-minus; on May 28, there was a detailed article in my local newspaper, which spelled out Trump giving pardons to criminals in return for money.
3. The New Yorker magazine — grade of B; it’s issue of Aug. 19 was the most exhaustive I have read about the billions of dollars Donald Trump and his worthless sons have raked in during the last six months, but it did not concentrate on the presidential pardon corruption.
4. Mother Jones magazine — grade of B-minus; it its August edition there was an article about Trump shaking down the news media, foreign countries connected to tariff rates and Trump investment payoffs, but was light on pardon payoffs.
5. The Progressive Populist — grade of F. I have spoon-fed James Cullen all of the facts about the Trump pardon scandal on a silver platter, the result of which has been nothing about corruption in TPP — Nada, zero. [Editor Replies: I think we have reported on the pardon scandal, but we’ll try to do better.]
By the way, why is Donald Trump attracted to men who are sexually involved with underage girls? We all know his friendship with child molester Jeffrey Epstein. How soon the lazy news media forgets Trump’s close association with disgraced former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz, who was to be his puppet attorney general!
