We Need Good Jobs

Thanks, Thom Hartmann, for your fine article (“The great MAGA job scam: How Trump is plotting the new American sweatshops,” June 2025 TPP). Of course the corporations want many poor people scrambling for jobs, any job — for a pittance, no safety standards, no unions.

That’s why they’re so against abortion and contraceptives. Fewers babies among the poor means fewer modern day slaves, begging for work. Meanwhile the corporations are automating as much as possible. Consequently fewer jobs.

Cut back on public school funding and get more uneducated desperate people.

The rich always do what they want. Most middle class people manage family planning. The poor have fewer options. Abstain? Please!

We must have unions and regulations or where are we heading?

We need fewer people on Planet Earth not more.
